In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in El Salvador demonstrated varied performance metrics, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 1.5K and 2.6K, peaking in mid-July. Active users remained stable, averaging around 111K to 113K throughout the quarter, indicating solid user engagement.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of approximately 1.5K in mid-September. Active user numbers also saw a gradual rise, starting at about 59K and climbing to over 62K by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth experienced modest download numbers, with a noticeable uptick to over 500 downloads in mid-September. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 1.9K to over 2.7K during the same period.
